When Katie and Andrew told me their vision for me to capture their downtown Mobile rooftop engagement session, I knew it was going to be something special. This setting with the stunning Mobile skyline as our backdrop, and we couldn’t have asked for better lighting than the warm embrace of golden hour.

As the couple stepped onto the rooftop, their love of photos was evident – a photographer’s dream! They came prepared with two outfits that perfectly represented their personalities! I always recommend one dressy and one more casual. This allowed us to create a diverse range of photos so that they have plenty of options to choose from for their save the dates! Katie & Andrew killed it with both looks! I LOVE how sharp Andrew looks in his suit and Katie was giving me Little Mermaid vibes with her beautiful bow!

Katie and Andrew’s rooftop engagement session wasn’t just about creating beautiful photos; it was also about building a connection. It’s this bond that will help me, as their photographer, to capture their wedding day at St. Mary’s Catholic Church next May, with the reception to follow at The Admiral Semmes Hotel in Mobile, AL.

This downtown mobile rooftop engagement session was a fantastic way for Katie and Andrew to practice being in front of the camera before the big day. For Katie and Andrew, it was a chance to get comfortable with my style, and it showed in the way they effortlessly interacted and radiated love throughout the session. I can’t wait to witness and capture the beginning of their journey as a married couple, and I’m honored to be part of their love story.
