A Special Connection with Another Photographer

As a Fairhope family photographer, I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family from Utah during their beach vacation in Alabama. The mom, who is a talented photographer herself, found me online and reached out for me to document these special memories. It’s always a unique experience working with another photographer, and this session was no exception.

Exploring Downtown Fairhope

The family—mom, dad, twin boys (7), and another boy (9)—was full of energy and excitement. As a mom of a 7-year-old boy myself, I could relate to the twins’ playful spirit. We started the session at Mr. Gene’s Beans in downtown Fairhope, a local favorite full of charm and color. The boys enjoyed exploring the area, which made for some great candid shots.

Southern Charm in the Mossy Trees

After capturing the lively downtown atmosphere, we headed to the bay to photograph the family among Fairhope’s iconic mossy trees. My clients were especially excited about this location because they don’t have trees like this back in Utah. The soft, moss-covered branches framed the family perfectly, bringing a touch of Southern charm to their portraits.

Creating Vacation Memories
