A Belforest Pointe Wedding in Daphne, Alabama

Jensen and Alex’s Belforest Pointe wedding was joyful, relaxed, and full of heart — even with the rain that poured for most of the day. The couple planned a celebration focused on connection and fun, skipping a formal ceremony and wedding party and instead hosting an evening reception surrounded by their favorite people.

A Rainy Wedding Day and a Sweet First Look

The rain didn’t dampen the excitement one bit. Jensen and Alex shared a first look before the celebration began, smiling through the drizzle and even taking a few adorable umbrella photos before heading inside. We followed that with family portraits, which we kept organized and efficient thanks to a detailed list the couple and I created together — my second photographer helped gather family members while I photographed, making the process quick and stress-free.

A Heartfelt Reception

Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, a delicious dinner, and a beautifully styled dessert table while music played and laughter filled the air. Jensen and Alex made an energetic grand entrance, setting the tone for an unforgettable night! The couple shared their first dance as husband and wife, followed by sweet parent dances — including a touching father/daughter and stepfather/daughter dance, and a wonderful mother/son moment. One of the most special moments came when Jensen’s grandmother joined the dance floor with a little help to stand and move — a memory everyone will cherish.

Dancing, Speeches and So Much Joy

Family members gave toasts, and the dance floor stayed full all night. The open bar and DJ kept the celebration going strong, and later in the evening, Jensen and Alex stepped outside under the covered patio for some sparkler photos beneath an arbor that Alex had built himself. Once the photos were done, everyone headed back inside to keep the party going.

Sunset, Swords and a Perfect Ending

Just before the night ended, the rain finally stopped and the sun peeked through giving us a beautiful golden glow for a few more bride and groom portraits. One of my favorites was of Jensen proudly holding her sword, which added a fun and totally “them” touch to the gallery.

There was no cake cutting or bouquet toss — just genuine laughter, dancing, and celebration. Jensen eventually changed into a comfy t-shirt and shorts set printed with Alex’s face, which was a crowd favorite on the dance floor!

Jensen and Alex’s Belforest Pointe wedding perfectly showcased the couple’s style: simple, heartfelt, and beautifully personal. The entire day felt authentic, happy, and full of love. Jensen and Alex’s friends and family were amazing and even included a couple whose wedding I photographed four years ago! It was such a joy to be part of this Belforest Pointe wedding, celebrating two people who clearly adore each other and know how to throw one incredible party. If you’re planning a wedding in Daphne, Alabama, this venue offers everything you need for an unforgettable celebration.
