This Spring wedding at The Bragg was just perfect for Regan and Alex. It was the kind of day that felt joyful from start to finish. Their Bragg Mitchell Mansion Wedding in Mobile, Alabama was filled with meaningful moments, beautiful spring details, and so much love from their people. One word I heard more than once throughout the day was incredible, and it truly was!
Getting Ready in Fairhope & Mobile
The morning started with two completely different but equally special scenes. Alex got ready at his parents’ home in Fairhope, surrounded by family and a relaxed, excited energy. Meanwhile, Regan spent the morning at The Bragg Mitchell Mansion, where everything felt classic, elegant, and full of anticipation.
Before seeing Alex, Regan shared some incredibly meaningful moments with her family. She did a first look with her dad and brother, and also had a sweet visit with her grandmother. These were the kind of quiet, emotional moments that really set the tone for the day.
A Full Portrait Experience Before the Ceremony
Regan and Alex made such a great decision to take care of all their portraits before the ceremony. This allowed them to be fully present later in the day, soaking in every second of their reception with their guests.
Their first look was so genuine and full of excitement. From there, we moved through bride and groom portraits, wedding party, and family photos around the grounds of The Bragg. The property offers so many beautiful backdrops, especially in the spring with everything in bloom.
An Outdoor Ceremony Under the Oaks
Their ceremony took place on the lawn next to The Bragg Mitchell Mansion, under towering trees that created the most beautiful natural canopy. White chairs lined the aisle, leading to a floral arch filled with soft pink and white blooms.
The ceremony music was performed by a two-piece string duo, adding such an elegant and timeless feel. One of my favorite details of the ceremony was that Regan added a veil just for the ceremony, giving Alex a completely new look to take in as she walked down the aisle.
A Romantic Spring Reception
The reception design was soft, romantic, and perfectly suited for a spring wedding. In front of the mansion, guests were welcomed into a space filled with pink satin linens, pink and white florals, and glowing candlelight.
A white tent with chandeliers covered the dance floor, while a bar just outside kept the celebration flowing. Being mostly outdoors gave the entire evening such a fresh, airy feel.
Dinner was served buffet-style, followed by the most beautiful cake display. The bride’s cake was a tiered white design with pearl details and pink peonies to match her bouquet, alongside a groom’s cake. Later in the night, guests were treated to a fun late-night snack – always a hit!
A Dance Floor to Remember
The energy at this reception was unmatched. With a great DJ keeping the music going, the dance floor stayed packed all night long. Between heartfelt speeches from the parents, best man, and maid of honor, and all the laughter and celebration, you could truly feel how loved Regan and Alex are.
And more than that you could SEE how in love they are. Every glance, every laugh, every moment together said it all.
A Perfect Southern Send-Off
To end the night, Regan and Alex made their exit in the most classic way – a vintage white convertible waiting out front.
Guests tossed white rose petals as they ran through, laughing and soaking in those final moments of their Bragg Mitchel Mansion wedding day. It was the perfect ending to a day that was truly unforgettable.
