WELCOME, I'M TONI!
Morgan and Kyle’s Cathedral and Bragg Mitchell wedding in Mobile, AL was a stunning day filled with classic Southern elegance, meaningful moments, and an incredible celebration from start to finish. The day began at the Riverview Hotel in downtown Mobile, where Morgan and her bridesmaids got ready with beautiful views overlooking Mobile Bay. The relaxed atmosphere quickly turned to excitement as everyone prepared for the big day.
From there, the bridal party traveled by trolley to The Bragg Mitchell Mansion, where Morgan stepped into her gown surrounded by her bridesmaids. The day included a heartfelt bridesmaids reveal, a sweet visit from Morgan’s dog, and an emotional first look with her father. Every detail felt personal and intentional.
Morgan looked timeless in her elegant bridal gown, complete with a lace bolero and cathedral-length veil. Kyle and Morgan shared a beautiful first look before taking bride and groom portraits around The Bragg’s gorgeous grounds. Wedding party and family portraits were also completed before the ceremony.
This wedding timeline is one of my favorite approaches for a Cathedral and Bragg Mitchell wedding because it allows couples to enjoy their reception to the fullest without spending cocktail hour away from guests. Morgan and Kyle were able to be fully present for every part of their celebration.
After portraits, guests boarded the trolley to The Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Mobile for a full Catholic mass ceremony. The grandeur of The Cathedral provided the perfect setting for Morgan and Kyle’s sacred vows.
Following the ceremony, Morgan transformed her look by removing her lace bolero and bustling her gown for a classic strapless reception style.
The Bragg Mitchell Mansion was transformed into an extraordinary reception space with a beautifully draped tent, elegant floral installations, custom lighting fixtures, lounge areas, and a gorgeous color palette of blues, greens, white, and pink. Bridesmaids in pink and groomsmen in black perfectly complemented the sophisticated design.
Guests enjoyed an oyster station, signature margaritas and espresso martinis, an open bar, a bourbon and cigar bar, multiple dinner stations, and incredible desserts including both bride and groom’s cakes. Late-night cheeseburgers and MoBay Beignets were the perfect finishing touch – Sunny with Whitworth Weddings really knows how to plan a party!
Morgan debuted a third bridal look later in the evening, changing into a fun white gown with flutter sleeves for dancing. The live band kept the dance floor packed all night long.
The evening ended with a romantic flower petal exit as Morgan and Kyle departed in a vintage convertible, the perfect ending to their unforgettable Cathedral and Bragg Mitchell wedding day in Mobile.
Congratulations to the newlyweds – The Future Doctors Kyle and Morgan Shepard!
